School for Witches

I rode to marriage in a green carriage
Gave there my passion, got none in return,
Nobody came near me, nobody would hear me:
Fool is the woman who lets her love burn.

Steal away, steal away from realms of the day,
Enter the portals where power is born,
Quaff the full cup, that last drop drink up ~
Sweet blood of dragon and pale unicorn.

I lost my lover, could get me no other:
Disillusionment stalks the gullible young.
Look not to bind her who's left love behind her,
Kisses for wisdom, she traded and won.

Steal away, steal away from realms of the day,
Enter the portals where power is born,
Quaff the full cup, that last drop drink up ~
Sweet blood of dragon and pale unicorn.

He did not come gladly, he took his fate badly
Roaring and shaking his masterful mane.
I stirred up the ocean, brewed me a potion
And froze him forever in fury's cold flame.

Steal away, steal away from realms of the day,
Take the dark lover but be not forsworn.
Quaff the full cup, that last drop drink up ~
Sweet blood of dragon and pale unicorn.

Tell your young lasses, don't attend classes
In maiden deportment, innocent art,
Of spells be ye weavers, of daylight deceivers:
School all your lusting to theft of the heart.

Steal away, steal away from realms of the day
Enter the portals where power is born,
Quaff the full cup, that last drop drink up ~
Sweet blood of dragon and pale unicorn.
